Spring is here... in Callaway Gardens


Before heading out to Alabama, a group of us got together and stopped over in Columbus, Georgia to Callaway Gardens. It is basically this major garden where you can see everything bloom into spring. Here are a LOT of photos that I took while I was there. 





This a shot of the chandelier inside the butterfly exhibit.


This is one of my favorite shots. Can't explain why, but it is...


So many beautiful butterflies...





















While we were walking around, we found this chapel deep into the woods.  

The stain glass windows were mesmerizing...











I'm not a nature enthusiast, but I truly enjoyed my time here looking at the flowers, butterflies and just getting lost in nature

  15. Oh my gosh....these photos are incredible!!! So, so beautiful. Each and every one of them. Well done. You ask which I like best? That's hard to say...since I love outdoor nature photos so much, but the chapel in the woods was super too. I can't pick just one...I'd have to say ALL OF THEM.

    P.S. Your Alabama trip looks like a wonderful adventure. Some of my ancestral roots go back to Mobile. Visiting there a few years ago was a trip back in time, and not just because I was doing genealogy research!

  57. I fell in love with your chapel photos. The stain glass windows are very unusual.

    The first butterfly photo....looks like a big old eye on the wing looking back at me.

    I haven't been to a butterfly exhibit in years.
