Sometimes, life goes by so fast, that if you don't pay attention, you could miss it.. And, I almost did with my blog's one year anniversary!!
(1) The vision for my blog: Though I knew what I wanted for my blog when I first started, I had trouble figuring out how to go about doing it. As I kept posting, I had a clearer picture of what I wanted to share with each post that I wrote. My focus was to make each experience more personalized so that each reader felt like they were with me.
(2) My camera: Getting a camera really helped in communicating more clearly what I wanted to express to my readers. Though I struggled figuring how to use it and realized later that I had to watermark my pics, buying a camera was one of the best investments I made. My blog would have been very different without my SLR camera...
(3) Consistency: When I initially started the blog, I had more time on my hands and I was able to give my blog the attention that it needed. I posted about every other day and I was also involved in reading other blogs as well. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule at this time of my life, it has become more difficult to give my blog the attention that it needs. I wish I could post pictures and write every other day like I used to. Maybe an opportunity will come when I can do so again...
Now, I would like to share with my readers three postings that I have done this past year. Hope you enjoy them:

Get Ready!! Lady On A Roof has some travel plans ahead :D
About a year ago, I felt a nudge to start writing about living in the NYC area and about other places that I visit. The purpose of the blog was to share my personal experience in every venture I took. And looking back on where I have come from, I can see that I have grown and changed a lot. Here are three ways that Lady On A Roof has changed since it first started:
